Secret Shine new EP September 2006

Secret Shine plan to release a new EP in late August/early September 2006 under the working title ‘Beyond Sea and Sky’.
The band will release another 3 or 4 new songs, including, ‘Beyond Sea and Sky’ and ‘Hit the Ground’ as a follow up to February’s ‘Elemental EP’.
“We had originally intended to put an album out in the autumn but we’re totally self-financed and don’t have the resourses to back an album yet. Aside from our desire to release new material we hope the new EP will bring in some interest from a record label so we can start putting our album together”.
Songs from the new EP will feature in the band’s live set for the late summer and autumn gigs and will get their first airing at Club AC30 on July 21st.
“We’re really excited about the new record. ‘Elemental’ is an endearing record that people seem to have really taken to but the next record will see Secret Shine move into new and familiar territories – shimmering, mummering distorted guitars over the top of a full orchestra.
