Hello and belated happy new year! Secret Shine is just waking from mid-winter hibernation…
The days are short and cold and, in this country, pretty wet and miserable most of the time but we are waking from our mid-winter break to continue writing songs for the new record.
At last count I think we had about 6 new songs but would like to at least double that for the new album. We plan to write about 20 and pick the best! At recent rehearsals we’ve been playing a new rendition of ‘Last Words’ from the Greater than God EP. We always hated the way we recorded this song but actually like the song itself so there’s a chance we will record this song again. We could either put this on the new record or offer it as a download on the site. Either way, this song deserves a breath of new life.
Thanks again to anyone who’s bought Beyond Sea and Sky. The American distributors have sold out of one batch and they’ve disappeared like piping hot cakes from our site so we have very few left now. We’re not intending to press any more copies so if you want one then best order soon…and we still have free badges for those who order either Beyond Sea and Sky or Elemental.
