Secret Shine album release date

Thu 10 Jan '08 by Scott

Secret Shine’s 2nd studio album ‘All of the Stars’ will be released April 8th 2008 on the US label Clairecords just short of 15 years after our first album ‘Untouched’.

At this rate our, as yet untitled, third album should be in the shops by the year 2023.

‘All of the Stars’ contains ten brand new songs; Voice of the Sea, Know, Stars in the Sky, Cafe Crash, Another Day, Hate you when you smile, All that’s left, Oblivion, Last leaves and The Sound of Light.

The record was written and recorded throughout 2007 and is probably our most diverse and accomplished release to date. There are powerful noise pop songs like ‘Voice of the Sea’, and ‘Oblivion’ mixed with the sweet and tender ‘Another Day’ and ‘Last Leaves’. Before I run out of adjectives – take a listen for yourself – we will post some song samples on this site in the next few weeks so keep an ear to the ground.

We will be playing new tracks from our album when we support Levy on January 23rd 2008 at the Bristol Louisiana and throughout our US tour in March. You can track details of our tour on our myspace site and here of course.

‘All of the Stars’ is released April 8th and will be available from Tonevendor and this website. More details to follow…
